HWF Camp100 info and Booking Form here:
Here is an idea of the sort of things your young person will need to bring on camp when sleeping in tents. An updated list will be shared with specifics for each camp.
For residential camps they may still need a sleeping bag, but probably not a mat or blanket, but they will probably still be outside in all weather so waterproofs and warm layers are essential.
If you need help with any of this, please ask - there are always people with stuff to share or donate.
We will provide sleeping tents for young people (adults need to bring their own) as well as cooking and eating stuff.
Please make sure EVERYTHING is labelled with your child's name, and that they know what they have brought with them.
Please pack into a soft bag, no wheelie suitcases, ideally something they can easily carry themselves like a rucksack. This is essential for when there is a Bivvy planned.
Make sure sleeping bags and other bedding are in a waterproof bag (or in a plastic bag inside your bag) and that bag is clearly labelled.
